Adeniyi Adeoti, ACA, ACTI, is a seasoned tax professional with a strong academic and practical background in taxation, finance, and financial advisory services. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Finance. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI) and an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
With over nine (9) years of hands-on experience in taxation, Adeniyi has developed extensive expertise across tax advisory, tax compliance, tax audits, tax investigations, and tax dispute resolution. Over the years, he has successfully represented and defended prominent oil and gas companies, investment holding companies, and a leading commercial bank in significant taxation-related matters, including appearances before the House of Representatives in connection with tax investigations.
His professional experience also extends to representing clients before key law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). In these engagements, he has provided technical tax representation and successfully defended and assisted clients in resolving taxation-related issues.
Adeniyi brings a strong understanding of the Nigerian tax and regulatory environment, particularly in situations involving tax investigations, regulatory reviews, assessments, disputes, and compliance challenges. His ability to combine technical tax knowledge with practical experience enables him to provide strategic and commercially relevant solutions to complex tax matters.
He is currently further strengthening his academic and professional expertise as a PhD candidate in Finance, building on his extensive professional experience in taxation, finance, and advisory services.
