Oluwakemi holds a Master’s degree in Finance (MSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Accounting, Second Class Upper Division, from Lagos State University. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate and Public Sector Professionals (FCPSP), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI). She has also participated extensively in ICAN conferences, IFRS and IPSAS workshops, and other professional development programmes.
She is currently further strengthening her academic and professional expertise as a PhD candidate in Finance, building on her extensive experience in taxation, finance, accounting, financial management, and advisory services. Her doctoral studies further complement her professional perspective and reflect her commitment to continuous learning, research, professional excellence, and the advancement of financial management practice.
She currently serves as Deputy Bursar in the Accounting Services Division of the Lagos State University Bursary Department, where she provides strategic and operational leadership across key financial functions. Her responsibilities include oversight of financial reporting, account reconciliations, payables management, fixed asset administration, audit support, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
In this capacity, Oluwakemi contributes to the preparation and review of critical financial reports and ensures that financial processes are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and recognized professional standards, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
